On September 3rd, family, friends, and colleagues gathered to say a heartfelt farewell to (Basis) founder John Davis. The funeral was a testament to John's impact, with many attendees from both past and present chapters of the company's journey. The ceremony, overseen by Pastor Nigel, went smoothly, honouring John’s memory with the dignity and respect he so rightly deserved.

John's sons gave moving speeches, reflecting on their father's legacy. Current and former colleagues, including Charlie and Nick, also shared touching memories, painting a vivid picture of a man who was not only a leader but also a mentor and friend. Following the service, a wake was held for family and friends to reminisce and celebrate John's life.

While the day was filled with the sorrow of loss, it also marked the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for BRS. General Manager Nick Attard spoke of this transition, stating,

"John was a huge personality within this industry, well known and well liked. My goal now is to make John proud with the direction we take the company. We will look at the challenges ahead as we move into this new chapter for the company."

John's vision and dedication to his clients were the foundation upon which the company was built.
