After wrapping up a busy November delivering training sessions in Scotland, the BRS training delivery team hit the ground running in December with a packed schedule. From training healthcare providers in Ireland and London to gearing up for exciting opportunities in Wales in the New Year, it’s been an action-packed month for the team. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.
Delivering Excellence in Ireland
Earlier this month, our team travelled to Ireland to deliver a 3-day Train-the-Trainer course for a large healthcare company. This bespoke programme was designed to empower the organisation’s trainers with the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality training to their staff base.
Jake Attard, one of our experienced trainers, shared his thoughts on the session:
"It’s always rewarding to see trainers gain the tools they need to give their staff confidence in dealing with the range of frontline challenges that they may face - making a real difference in their organisations. Helping them build a framework, legal and with techniques, for their own training capacity is what makes courses like this so impactful."

Restraint Training in the Heart of London
Next, we were in London, where our team delivered a 3-day Full Restraint Training course for a well-known healthcare provider.
The training focused on equipping frontline staff with safe and effective techniques to manage challenging or aggressive situations while maintaining the dignity and safety of those in their care.
Our office manager ensured that this assignment's trainer, Charlie Attard, was conveniently located during his stay. However, Charlie wasn’t entirely thrilled about the view from his hotel room:
"I’m definitely not a Chelsea fan, so waking up to a view of the football stadium was an interesting start to each day! That said, the training sessions went brilliantly, and the team were a pleasure to work with."
Supporting Welsh Careers Education in the New Year
Looking ahead to January, we’re excited to begin working with a new client in Wales. We’ll be delivering training for frontline education staff at an organisation dedicated to helping individuals get back on the career ladder or progress in their careers.
Nick Attard, our General Manager, emphasised the importance of this partnership:
"Expanding our reach into this segment of education is a natural step for us. We've worked with many HE and Further education organisations - Supporting organisations that help people develop their careers aligns perfectly with our mission to be the go to agency in this sectors."
We look forward to sharing more about this exciting project in the coming months.
